I created this stunning, one-of-a-kind project from concept through completion, managing every detail of construction, on this 18-acre billionaire’s compound. I designed and managed each and every phase of every trade in both design and construction. The entire project – including the existing mansion -- can be controlled via wall pads in various locations in the Grotto, outside, inside the mansion including one next to the master bed, as well as a hand-held remote control device that runs the whole site, from home or from away via satellite phone. The Grotto fills the inside of the man-made mountain and has multiple levels. It features a full bar, steam room, pool, hot tub, cold tub, underwater swim-through to and from the outdoor Lake, bathroom, changing room, lounge, tunnel entry, loft above the pool with a 25’ high ceiling and waterfall pictured above. The Grotto has steam, misters from subtle vapor to thick fog, fire features, full sound, flat screens, security, and many more amenities. I also consulted confidentially with security personnel to build the grotto as a safe house.
